The Council is affiliated with the Federal Youth Authority of the UAE.

The Youth Council at the Ras Al Khaimah Department of Antiquities and Museums – an affiliate of the Federal Youth Authority (FYA) of the UAE – has organized an event titled ‘Post Stamp Café’ from September 30 to October 2, 2021, at the Ras Al Khaimah Youth Hub.

The event coincides with International Coffee Day on October 1 and World Post Day, with several activities such as a post stamp exhibition showcasing nearly 5,000 different stamps, including some for Expo 2020 Dubai. The event also included a coffee corner where many young participants joined.

His Excellency Ahmed Obaid Al Tunaiji, Director-General of the RAK Department of Antiquities and Museums, said: “The Department has developed various programs and activities to support the youth, hone their skills, and introduce them to the history and heritage of their forefathers. We strive to instill the Emirati identity and values in their hearts, and we speak to them in a way that caters to their preferences and interests.”
