\nAs part of Ras Al Khaimah Government\u2019s commitment to support the education, development and competitiveness of Emirati talent to meet the highest international standards, the \u00a0Department of Human Resources (DHR) and the Investment and Development Office (IDO) celebrated \u00a0the next batch of graduates from the \u2018Etimad\u2019 Program, which was implemented in partnership with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) Academy and aims to prepare, qualify, empower, and upskill Emirati professionals \u00a0to enable them to compete at a global level.<\/p>\n
A total of 24 participants across the Etimad program groups were facilitated for their achievement in obtaining either the Foundation Diploma or the Advanced Diploma, respectively, in Accounting and Business. The Advanced Diploma holders are now qualified for the final phase of the ACCA journey, on the path to become certified ACCA members and work as licensed auditors in 170 countries around the world.<\/p>\n
H.E. Dr. Mohamed Abdullatif Khalifa, Director General of the DHR, said: “We are proud to celebrate the successful graduates from the \u2018Etimad\u2019 Program for empowering Emirati talent in partnership with the IDO. This program reflects the commitment of Ras Al Khaimah\u2019s Government to upskilling UAE talent and equipping them with the knowledge and skills that enable them to compete on an international level.\u201d<\/p>\n
“Obtaining the ACCA Diploma is an important accomplishment, as it opens the door for professional opportunities around the world. We believe that this initiative will contribute to enhancing the competitiveness of Ras Al Khaimah\u2019s talent and support the UAE\u2019s comprehensive development journey, and we congratulate all graduates and wish them continued success in their respective careers,” he added.<\/p>\n

Mohammed Sultan Al Qadi, Managing Director and Board Member of the IDO, said that \u2018Etimad\u2019 Program is a confident step towards achieving RAK Government\u2019s ambitious vision for a bright, sustainable future, as it significantly contributes to developing the skills of Emiratis, enhancing their competitiveness in the global market, and strengthening and improving the accounting and financial systems in the Emirate.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Etimad\u2019 Program aims to enhance the competitiveness of talent in the UAE job market, raising the efficiency of government employees, adopting the best international standards in various work areas, and enabling young professionals to strengthen their academic knowledge and obtain prestigious certificates from specialized international associations and organizations.<\/p>\n
