Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, affirmed that Flag Day is an occasion that reflects pride in national unity and deeply-rooted Emirati identity, embodied by a banner of honour and supported by the efforts of the nation&#8217;s loyal people and the sacrifices of its dedicated youth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"read\">\u201cThis day carries the aspirations of the Emirati people and their ambitions for a bright future filled with progress, prosperity, and exceptional achievements,&#8221; H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr said during his raising of the UAE flag on the Flagpole at the Al Qawasim Corniche in Ras Al Khaimah, coinciding with the emirate&#8217;s celebrations of Flag Day, which falls on 3rd November.<\/p>\n<p class=\"read\">H.H. Sheikh Saud was accompanied by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Ahmed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Public Services Department in Ras Al Khaimah, Sheikh Khalid bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Vice Chairman of the Investment and Development Office in Ras Al Khaimah, and Sheikh Saqr bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Ceramics, along with heads and directors of federal and local government departments in Ras Al Khaimah, and citizens and residents.<\/p>\n<p class=\"read\">On this occasion, Sheikh Saud stated, \u201cOur nation continues its pioneering national journey along the righteous path drawn for us by the Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, and his fellows, the late founding fathers, who laid the foundations of the nation behind the banner of honour and glory, which symbolises our unity and strength, and is a source of pride for us. We will always raise the banner of our nation and remain committed to the legacy of our ancestors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"read\">The Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah added, \u201cOur nation has established a global model to be emulated in progress, prosperity, and development. We have achieved accomplishments that we, as the sons of this great nation, can proudly present to the world. Today, as we celebrate our nation&#8217;s flag and the symbol of our unity, we express our loyalty to the homeland and its leadership, and renew our pledge to move forward toward a more progressive future that we will build with the energy of our promising youth and the efforts of our devoted citizens.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p class=\"read\">&#8220;May the flag of our nation be present in every gathering, reflecting our identity and deeply-rooted national values, embodying our unity and humanitarian values, and enhancing our nation&#8217;s status as a beacon of tolerance, coexistence, and peace, as well as a global model for progress and prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"read\">On this national occasion, Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi extended his warmest congratulations and best wishes to President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, as well as to Their Highnesses the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates, and the citizens and residents.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>H.H.
