The submission deadline was set for August 31, 2019, and more information is available on the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.alqasimifoundation.com\/en\/what-we-do-l3\/114\/artist-in-residence-program\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Foundation\u2019s website<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Furthermore, the Foundation issued an extended call for submissions for two of its other arts and culture initiatives: the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival and the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival Film Grant.<\/p>\n<p>Now in its 8th edition, the Ras Al Khaimah Fine Arts Festival (RAKFAF 2020) bears the theme \u2018Connected Communities\u2019 and explores the many ways people build relationships with others, their surrounding environments, and the natural world.
