{"id":2007,"date":"2021-03-01T11:58:43","date_gmt":"2021-03-01T11:58:43","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rakmed.ga\/?p=1984"},"modified":"2022-07-12T10:27:09","modified_gmt":"2022-07-12T10:27:09","slug":"rakta-launches-the-shaheen-system-within-the-activities-of-uae-innovates-2021","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rakmediaoffice.ae\/en\/media-center\/press-releases\/rakta-launches-the-shaheen-system-within-the-activities-of-uae-innovates-2021\/","title":{"rendered":"RAKTA launches the \u201cShaheen\u201d system within the activities of UAE Innovates 2021"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><br \/>\nRas Al Khaimah Transport Authority (RAKTA) launched the first phase of\u00a0 \u201cShaheen\u201d system within the activities of the Innovation Month 2021 under the slogan \u201cUAE Innovates\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The system consists of installing an AI camera in front of taxi and bus drivers that reads their face features and activities while driving to monitor stress levels and signs of fatigue, through technical indicators linked to RAKTA\u2019s Smart Control Center.<\/p>\n<p>There is also another smart system represented by a device through which the driver\u2019s behavior is monitored during the trip, in terms of exceeding the speed limit, lack of commitment to safe driving, using the brakes recklessly, turning suddenly, being distracted from the road using a mobile phone while driving, and others. Accordingly, the RAKTA\u2019s Smart Control Center analyzes this data and takes immediate measures to ensure the safety of taxi and bus users, and contribute to reducing complaints and observations.<\/p>\n<p>H.E Eng.
