{"id":5007,"date":"2021-09-30T18:26:38","date_gmt":"2021-09-30T18:26:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/rmodev.gq\/?p=5007"},"modified":"2021-11-26T18:29:46","modified_gmt":"2021-11-26T18:29:46","slug":"rak-tda-jebel-jais-zipline-tour","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.rakmediaoffice.ae\/en\/media-center\/press-releases\/rak-tda-jebel-jais-zipline-tour\/","title":{"rendered":"Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority Celebrates The Launch Of The Latest Adventure Attraction: The Jebel Jais Zipline Tour"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><!-- VideographyWP Plugin Message: Automatic video embedding prevented by plugin options. --><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><em>The \u201cJebel Jais Zipline Tour\u201d will be the latest addition to its rich portfolio of adventure tourism products<\/em><\/li>\n<li><em>Jebel Jais is already home to a host of outdoor adventure attractions including the Jebel Jais Flight: The World\u2019s Longest Zipline and the renowned Jebel Jais Via Ferrata<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In an\u00a0ongoing effort to further develop and expand the Emirate\u2019s adventure tourism portfolio,\u00a0Ras Al\u00a0Khaimah\u00a0Tourism\u00a0Development Authority (RAKTDA) announced the official launch of the latest adventure tourism product on Jebel Jais, the \u201cJebel Jais Zipline Tour\u201d, in partnership with ToroVerde, which will join and complement the existing attractions including the Jebel Jais Via Ferrata (mountain climbing) and the Jebel Jais Flight: The Word\u2019s Longest Zipline, that has already welcomed more than 35,000 flyers since its launch.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<strong>\u2018Jebel Jais\u00a0<\/strong><strong>Zipline Tour\u2019<\/strong>\u00a0features\u00a0seven ziplines\u00a0flying over the grand cliffs and canyons of Jebel Jais\u00a0which are connected by nine platforms; the cluster of seven ziplines cover a total distance of 5km (ranging from 337m to 1km in length) with an average speed of 60kmph. During the tour, flyers will navigate their way through the air to reach the 15 metre long sky bridge, the highest in the UAE at 1,250m above the sea level and 300m above ground, which they will have to cross to finish the remaining part of the zipline tour journey.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.rakmediaoffice.ae\/media\/2040\/jebel-jais-zipline-tour_1.jpg\" alt=\"\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Raki Phillips, CEO of Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority\u00a0<\/strong>said<strong>: \u201c<\/strong>As Jebel Jais remains core to\u00a0our overall tourism proposition in making Ras Al Khaimah a global destination,\u00a0we recognize the importance of constantly evolving our outdoor offering. This time, adventure enthusiasts visiting Jebel Jais will have yet another reason to come, and will find nothing short of an exhilarating experience with the Jebel Jais Zipline Tour.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>New adventure tourism products in the pipeline include \u2018Bull Maze\u2019 in Q4 2019, which comprises a field of 35 challenging obstacles suspended in the air, distributed on three levels of a 20-meters height structure that will encourage each participant to face their limits.\u00a0The next adventure attraction to launch in Q1 2020 will be a controlled bungee at a height of 1,500 meters above the sea (23 meters above ground). Participants will have a free fall of 8 meters and a controlled fall of 15 meters.<\/p>\n<p>A new welcome center is now open for visitors &#8211; boasting panoramic views of the surrounding Hajar Mountains.
