Sheikh Saud met the event organizers, DP World Tour, players and sponsors as he watched the last action on the 18<sup>th<\/sup> hole of the immaculate Championship golf course.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSports is a powerful means to bring people together\u201d said H.H. Sheikh Saud: \u201cRas Al Khaimah has a clear vision to continuously enhance quality of life in the Emirate and we consider sports to be a fundamental element in our plans.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHosting such a prestigious event is a significant achievement for Ras Al Khaimah and is credit to all the entities involved in bringing it to fruition,\u201d H.H. Sheikh Saud added.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Ras Al Khaimah Championship is yet another milestone in our ambitions to shape a better future for generations to come, and yet another accomplishment to proudly add to our track record, which spans economic, touristic, social and cultural sectors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The tournament, which attracted some of the best golfers in the world to the northernmost Emirate of the UAE, is the first of two back-to-back DP World Tour events to be hosted by Al Hamra Golf Club, the second being the Ras Al Khaimah Classic from February 10 to
