Sai Flavours, a major food-ingredient manufacturing company based in Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) since 2012, has announced plans to expand further with an investment of nearly AED 4 million. This will boost <\/span>its <\/span>production capacity to meet growing demand from <\/span>the <\/span>snack and meat processing companies in <\/span>the <\/span>Middle Eastern and African countries. After leasing additional warehouse space, its facility now spreads to <\/span>almost<\/span> 5,000 m<\/span>2<\/span>.<\/span><\/p>\n The company has grown <\/span>10-fold since their set-<\/span>up in 2012 in Al <\/span>Hamra<\/span> Industrial Zone<\/span>, <\/span>supply<\/span>ing<\/span> seasoning spices and food flavo<\/span>u<\/span>rs to the large local and regional food-processing <\/span>i<\/span>ndustries in <\/span>the UAE, Oman, Jordan, Senegal <\/span>and Nigeria. Some of the major local companies that source Sai Flavour\u2019s products include, Al <\/span>Kabeer<\/span> Group, <\/span>Seara<\/span> Middle East, National Food Industry, and Global Food Industries, among others. This move firmly aligns the company goals with that of the UAE\u2019s Food Security priorities.<\/span><\/p>\n Director of Sai Flavo<\/span>u<\/span>rs<\/span> Mamta<\/span> Khatri<\/span> said<\/span>,<\/span> \u201cAlong with the expansion, we are also increasing our workforce and launching some exciting products, such as meat blends and flavo<\/span>u<\/span>rs for the meat processing segment.
