His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has honored the winners of the RAK Half Marathon.

H.H. Sheikh Saud said the staging of the half marathon in Ras Al Khaimah highlighted the positive image of the Emirate.

H.H. Sheikh Saud also said the event underlined the Emirate’s commitment to promoting a healthy lifestyle for all people and underlined RAK’s ability to host major events.

Held on Marjan Island, the event welcomed several world-class runners and thousands of participants from dozens of countries across the globe.

Also present were dignitaries, senior officials, organizers and throngs of spectators.
