Upon the directives of H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, and the monitoring of H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah, the Ras Al Khaimah Government launched the “General Population, Houses and Facilities Consensus Project 2023,” managed by the Ras Al Khaimah Centre for Statistics and Studies (CSS).
Sheikh Saud highlighted the importance of the project and its key role in setting future strategic plans, as well as its contribution to the development of key sectors in the emirate.
He also pointed out that the population census and statistical data are key tools for keeping pace with the country’s development process over the next fifty years, to achieve its ambitious visions and goals and enhance its global competitiveness.
The population consensus will help cadres realise their full potential and train them in various areas, as well as encourage participation in all sectors, and reinforce the strategic relations between the public and private sectors.
The project is part of the Ras Al Khaimah Vision 2030.
