H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, highlighted the importance of forging international partnerships, as the cornerstone of establishing a better future for generations to come.

He also affirmed the UAE’s keenness to drive the global citizenship agenda.

He made this statement while inaugurating the Global Citizen Forum held in Ras Al Khaimah, with the attendance of several officials and decision-makers.

“Ras Al Khaimah is keen to promote the concept of global citizenship, in light of the UAE’s inspiring experience based on its national identity and traditional social values,” he said.

The emirate’s hosting of the forum for the second consecutive year underscores its keenness to adopt a sustainable development approach across all vital sectors and unleash the potential of talented minds, he added, noting that the international event will enhance the emirate’s competitiveness and international stature as a platform for positive dialogue.

The forum is being held in Ras Al Khaimah until 17th November, 2022, at the Al Hamra International Exhibition and Convention Centre, in partnership with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority.
