22 August 2019

Brigadier Jamal Ahmad Al Tair, Director-General of the Public Resources Authority at Ras Al Khaimah Police, revealed that the RAK ‘Vehicle Registration Village’ – the largest of its kind in the Middle East – is now 99% complete.

Situated near the Ras Al Khaimah Ring Road, the Village covers an area of 50,000 square meters and houses a technical inspection center, a VIP lounge, maintenance workshops, an ENOC petrol station, and other motor services.

Construction on the Village began in 2017 in partnership with the RAK Police General Headquarters and ENOC with a total cost of AED 60 million. Scheduled for opening in the near future, the RAK ‘Vehicle Registration Village’ will have a 1,000-vehicle capacity, offering vehicle licensing, renewal, and registration services.

The Village is also set to include various facilities, such as rest-stops for heavy vehicles, restaurants, cafés, retail outlets, and offices for car insurers.
