Ras Al Khaimah has revealed an exciting new adventure addition – a skating rink at the Jebel Jais Viewing Deck Park, overlooking the UAE’s most spectacular mountain range.

The overhanging rink is nestled 1,300 meters above sea level, giving visitors a true sense of the magic of winter, especially at this altitude, where temperatures are about 10C cooler than at sea level.

The synthetic skating rink offers visitors a realistic ice skating experience with a stunning mountain backdrop. It will be open each day, except Mondays Tuesdays, from 10am to 5pm until March and costs AED 45 for skate hire and 30 minutes’ skating. Skate penguins are also available to offer unsteady skaters support.
