September 10, 2024, Dongguan, Guangdong, China: His Highness Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, UAE Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, has met the Mayor of Dongguan Municipal Government, His Excellency Lyu Chengxi, and high-ranking officials, to discuss ways to increase trade and cultural exchange between Ras Al Khaimah and the city, during HH Sheikh Saud’s six-day visit to China.

HH Sheikh Saud was given insight on the social and economic development of the city of 10.5 million people, which is known for being one of China’s major manufacturing hubs.

The meeting followed HE Lyu Chengxi’s visit to Ras Al Khaimah earlier this year, when the two sides discussed their shared history of economic success that transpired through the development of their respective industrial and manufacturing sectors.
