RAK Police helicopters take to the air to boost awareness about staying indoors

Helicopters from the Air Wing of Ras Al Khaimah Police have taken to the emirate’s skies to raise awareness of the need to remain indoors during the current COVID 19 pandemic.

With the words ‘Stay at Home’ emblazoned across each helicopter’s tail boom, the aircraft flew low over populated areas, the activity an initiative of H.E. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah Police and head of the emirate’s Emergency and Crisis Management team.

The unique awareness drive was designed to encourage the public to stay at home and observe the precautionary and safety measures that have been put in place by authorities across the UAE to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.

H.E. Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi stressed that the security and safety of the community is the first priority for Ras Al Khaimah Police. He reiterated the prudent leadership’s vision, which calls to preserve the security and safety of citizens and residents, stressing that the enhancement and deployment of security is a patriotic duty. He highlighted that we all need to stay committed and act with unity to successfully overcome the COVID 19 outbreak.
