H.H. Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, received today at his palace in the Saqr bin Mohammed City, Dr. Kristina Kallas, Minister of Education and Research of the Republic of Estonia, who is currently visiting the country.

The RAK Ruler welcomed Dr. Kallas and her accompanying delegation, and discussed with her the importance of education and scientific research and its pivotal role in creating a bright and prosperous future for peoples and nations. They also exchanged views on a number of issues of mutual concern.

The meeting discussed bilateral relations and cooperation and ways to expand them across all sectors, especially economic, trade, investment, and education.

For her part, Dr. Kallas thanked Sheikh Saud for his hospitality and warm welcome, lauding the deep-rooted ties between their countries and Ras Al Khaimah’s fast-paced development.
