In the Courts of Ras Al Khaimah .. Marriage Contract Takes Only 15 Minutes

The RAK Courts Department, in cooperation with the eGovernment Authority, has developed the marriage contract service to the Digital Authorized Service as the first innovative application of its kind in the world, so that the authorized person can authenticate the marriage contract and attach all the required documents including the electronic signature of the guardian and witnesses and fingerprinting through an innovative application On a digital device that can be used from anywhere along the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah without the need to attend the husband or his relatives to the headquarters of the courts.

The head of the Ras Al Khaimah Courts Department, Ahmed Al-Khattari, said that the unique and unprecedented global digital license service has shortened the duration of the marriage registration service to 15 minutes, as well as reducing the costs of completing the service incurred by the husband through the cost of his transfer to the headquarters of the Courts Department and the costs of dealing with Printing offices and others, in addition to a significant reduction in the number of visitors to the department, where about 1100 marriage contracts are registered annually in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah, which in turn is associated with reducing the expenses of using the facilities of the Department and reducing the carbon footprint around the headquarters of the Department, Sustainability.

Al-Khattari added that one of the surveys indicated that the respondents reached a general happiness rate of 94.6%. The degree of their happiness is that the digital authorization for the time of marriage is significantly reduced by 93.5% And that the digital device works easily and smoothly and that the new service has significantly reduced the number of visitors to the headquarters of the courts.
