Ras Al Khaimah Police Commander-in-Chief Al Nuaimi Inspects Criminal Investigation Department

His Excellency Major General Ali Abdullah bin Alwan Al Nuaimi, Commander-in-Chief of Ras Al Khaimah (RAK) Police, has inspected the various sections and subdivisions of the RAK Police Criminal Investigation Department, accompanied by delegations of police officials.

Maj. Gen. Al Nuaimi applauded the Department for its role in ensuring safety and promoting a sense of security in the community. During a visit to the Tourism Police, H.E. examined the department’s action plan and awareness programs targeting tourists across the emirate, as well as the crime index, giving directives to redeploy criminal investigation patrols among new residential areas, in parallel with the construction boom taking place across Ras Al Khaimah.

The tour also included an inspection of the programs put in place to curb crime, as well as the plan of action for the National Index taskforce and the general perception of safety and security across the emirate.

Maj. Gen. Al Nuaimi called for embracing advanced technologies to support forensic procedures, applauding the efforts exerted to monitor cybercrimes. H.E. underlined the importance of raising the public’s awareness, cautioning them not to believe messages and news unless they come from an official source.
